  • Current ASTRO APBI guidelines:
    • Suitable:
      • Any patient greater than 50 years with:
        • T1 (margins at least 2 mm) or
        • Tis:
          • If screen-detected
          • Less than 2.5cm
          • Low-intermediate grade
          • Margins greater than 3 mm
  • Cautionary:
    • 40 to 49 years old or
    • 50 years old:
      • With at least one pathological higher risk factor
  • Unsuitable:
    • Less than 40 years old
    • Positive margins
    • Tumor greater than 3 cm
    • N+
