Thyroid Awareness Month – Thyroid Ultrasound

👉A thyroid nodule should be imaged by ultrasound and described by the TIRADs system to figure out if the nodule should be biopsied.

👉If your endocrinologist, or surgeon thinks you need a biopsy, a fine needle aspiration (FNA) will be done to check if the nodule is cancer or not.
